Our Providers
Jason and Joyce Palmateer live and practice in the local community. With over two decades of practice experience in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Gerontology, Mental Health and Hematology/Oncology, they are committed to providing exceptional care to their patients.
About Us
Palmateer Health and Wellness is unlike most other primary care facilities. Our approach is a blend of traditional and functional medicine. We utilize an integrated holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease rather than just treating symptoms with "another pill." We view the individual as an interconnected system, where physical, mental, and environmental factors influence overall health. Unlike traditional medicine, which often treats symptoms with medication, we aim to treat the underlying imbalances or dysfunctions that contribute to illness/symptoms.
Direct Primary Care Model
The Direct Primary Care (DPC) model is an innovative health care model that allows us to contract directly with our patients, rather than with insurance companies. Patients pay a flat, transparent monthly rate in exchange for: unlimited access to a range of primary care services, direct access to their provider, convenient scheduling, and unhurried appointments. Our patient members have the peace of mind knowing that their primary care needs are covered without deductibles, copays, or surprise medical bills. The DPC model prioritizes the relationship between the patient and their provider which leads to better health outcomes and higher patient satisfaction.

Membership Cost
Direct Primary Care (DPC) Monthly Membership Fees
- $35.00 (0-18 years of age) (25.00 members children)
- $55.00 (19-45 years of age)
- $65.00 (≥46 years of age)
- $75.00 enrollment fee per individual/family.
Enrolment fee waived with one year paid in advance.
Membership includes:
- Same or next day appointments.
- Relaxed, convenient appointments.
- Evening and weekend appointments per case basis.
- Telehealth visits
- Direct access to providers through email, phone, or text.
